Refund Policy

New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. No card details are taken, no payment is processed, and the trial ends by itself — so in most cases there is nothing to refund, because nothing was ever charged.

Everything below applies once you have chosen to subscribe at the end of that trial.

On top of the free trial, OxyAccounting offers a full 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of your initial subscription payment. If you are unsatisfied with the service for any reason within this period, you may request a full refund by emailing hello@oxyaccounting.co.za.

No explanation is required. Refunds under this guarantee will be processed within 5 business days via PayFast to the original payment method.

After the 14-day guarantee period has elapsed, subscription payments are non-refundable. This includes partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will retain access to the platform until the end of your current billing period, but no refund will be issued for the remaining days.

You can cancel your OxyAccounting subscription yourself, at any time, from inside the app: sign in and go to Company → Subscription. Cancelling stops the debit order immediately, so no further payments are taken, and you keep full access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Nothing is deleted on cancellation.

Cancellation is available to company administrators. If you would rather we did it for you, email hello@oxyaccounting.co.za.

To request a refund within the 14-day guarantee window, email hello@oxyaccounting.co.za with the email address associated with your account and your banking details for the refund.

OxyAccounting subscriptions are billed at R149 per month, or R1,490 per year if you choose to pay yearly. You select your billing period when you subscribe, and you can move to yearly billing later from Company → Subscription. All payments are processed securely via PayFast. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges at your chosen interval until you cancel.

OxyAccounting reserves the right to adjust pricing with advance notice. If pricing changes, you will be notified before the new rate takes effect.

After cancellation, your account and data are retained for 90 days, giving you time to export any records you need. After 90 days, your data is securely deleted or anonymised in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
